Happy Hearts Day!
Q4: BLOG #2 | 01/05/26 | Valentines
Every year on February 14, the world celebrates Valentine’s Day, a day commonly associated with flowers, chocolates, and sweet messages. It is said to be inspired by Saint Valentine, who became a symbol of love and sacrifice. But for me, Valentine’s Day is more than just a romantic celebration.
In the Philippines, people celebrate this day in many ways. Some go on dates, others spend time with friends, and many choose to show appreciation to their families. Love does not always have to be grand or expensive. Sometimes, it can be as simple as sending a thoughtful message, giving a small gift, or spending quality time with someone important to you.
“Always on Valentine’s Day” means choosing to express love not just once a year, but every single day. Love should not be limited to February 14. It should be seen in our actions—being kind, patient, and understanding. In the end, love becomes more meaningful when we practice it consistently, not just when the calendar tells us to.
