Intramurals '25-'26

 BLOG #6 | 09/12/2025 | INTRAMURALS

The intramurals this school year, 25-26, were an exciting event that brought our school community together. I was really looking forward to watching the different sports and cheering for our classmates. However, I wasn’t able to watch many of the games because I was busy taking care of our booths. Even though I missed a lot of the action on the field, being part of the event differently gave me a unique experience.

Managing the booth was challenging but rewarding. It required a lot of teamwork and responsibility, as we had to make sure everything was organized and running smoothly. Sometimes, it was tiring and demanding, but I enjoyed working with my teammates. We supported each other and learned to handle problems quickly, which made the whole experience more fulfilling.

Although I was not a spectator for most sports events, I still felt connected to the excitement around me. Hearing the cheers and seeing the energy of the students reminded me of how the intramurals bring everyone closer. It made me realize that even if you are not on the field, you can still be part of the celebration by helping in other ways.

This experience taught me important lessons about commitment and balancing responsibilities. I learned that contributing behind the scenes is just as important as competing in the games. I also discovered the value of time management, since I had to juggle my booth duties and keep up with my other school tasks.

Overall, the intramurals this year showed me that there are many ways to be involved and make a difference. I’m grateful for the chance to take part in the event, even if it wasn’t in the way I initially expected. Next year, I hope to find a balance where I can both help with preparations and enjoy watching the competitions live.
