More Than Meets the Eye

        A female baby named Kim was born in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, on January 30, 2010. Despite my unplanned birth, my parents said I was the greatest gift they had ever received. They showered me with affection and love, which I believe is the reason I'm amiable and thoughtful toward my friends. Growing up, I was described as a rambunctious and carefree baby. Anything they put on my plate, I would eat. They also said they spotted me roaming around my grandmother's garden, picking and eating her tomato. Engaging in play with my neighbors' children was an activity I consistently enjoyed during my childhood. And I recall that every time I return home from playing and see that I have new scratches or bruises from falling while playing Chinese garter or habol-habolan, my grandmother gets very concerned. I grew up with my grandparents, my dad had ongoing training and rarely came home, and my mom was working overseas. making me distant from them now that I'm in my teens. Despite the physical distance, I often reflect on the lessons my grandparents taught me about resilience and the importance of family. As I navigate the complexities of adolescence, those memories remind me of the strength that came from their unwavering support during my childhood.

Now that I'm a teen, I describe myself as an adventurous person who looks for chances to enjoy life and take risk in order to achieve my goals. It may sound reckless, but I'm not. By taking risk, I mean overcoming obstacles without causing any kind of harm to others. I like to radiate positivity around me. According to my friends I am a source of happiness to them—and make their surrounding feel light, and warm, when I'm around. I also like to do things accordingly and neatly, because when everything is in place, it's easier for me to complete given task, focus better, and think effectively. Furthermore, I'm very interested in reading Wattpad stories and manhwas. When it comes to music, I actually don't have a particular taste, I just add songs that I like the beat of, to my liked playlist.

I am aware that I will have obstacles along the path, but I choose to view them as opportunities to grow as a person and become stronger. I work hard every day to get better for those that support me as well as for myself. I want to make a difference in my own tiny ways and inspire others with my efforts, no matter how small. In everything I do, I try to lead with positivity, purpose, and passion. Whether i try to help someone stay motivated, organizing things my own way, or simply trying to finish strong. I may not be a perfect student, I believe that with the right mindset, determined heart, and with Gods guidance, ill be where i need to be. Even though I may trip and fall, I always get back up and carry with me the hope that my efforts, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to my goals and the purpose that God has for my life.
